Dual Motors are Great for Hills: Wildeway SOARED Review

Make no mistake, the SOARED is a ebike for the big & tall crowd. But if you want to eat hills with ease the Wildeway dual motor is quite capable.

It sells for just $1,399 and comes with a sing 48V 30AH (21700 cells) battery in the downtube. It also has dual suspension with a payload capacity of 440lbs. A 3 amp charger is included.

The two motors are 750 watt each but peak at 1300 watts for a combined 2600W of peak power and 136nm of torque. Top speed is a robust 32MPH. Claimed range is 65 miles with pedaling in single motor mode.

A set of hydraulic brakes paired with 203mm rotos give it good stopping power. Tires are 26×4 fatties.

The ebike is heavy though thanks to its steel frame and weighs in at 106lbs. Length is around 78 inches long.

Dislikes: rattling up front when the front motor is on. My heels can hit the frame while pedaling. No voltage/percentage reading on display.

Likes: top speed, power up hills, adjustable stem.

Overall the dual motors are nicely tuned and you don’t get any skidding on takeoff when the front wheel is engaged. Suspension is fairly stiff. I don’t think the rear shocks can be adjusted.
