The Blix Vika X at around $1799 comes with something most ebikes do not: electronic shifting. It comes in red, green, gray and blue and is also UL 2849 Certified. At just 61 pounds it makes for a great travel ebike.
Power comes form a 500W rear hub powered by a 48V 12.8AH battery. Claimned range is around 60-70 miles in ECO mode. The step thru design makes it sime and easy to mount/dismount and ride. Tires are 20×2.4 and it has hydraulic brakes.
It has a lot of tech starting with hi bealm/lo beam headlight, intergrate LED brake light with turn signals. But the real star is the Micro Shift electronic shifting feature.
Apparently i did not enable it correctly in my video but it only engages at higher speeds along with the torque sensor( the feature requires a long press for 3 seconds to activate). The manual electronic paddle shifter is really cool though. I love how effortless it is to shift up and down with that function.
The Vika X is so light it feels like a speedy ebike thanks to its low weight. Great power to weight ratio.
As I mentioned in the review this is a great choice for the first time ebike rider looking for a easy to ride electric bicycle. It comes in at $1799 but you can save a few bucks with code: Chris100 which gets you $100 OFF.
